Opportunity:
The objective was to choose an athlete in the Olympics and illustrate them using brushes.
Solution:
I chose to illustrate Usain Bolt, Jamaican sprinter who won gold medals in the 100-metre and 200-metre races in an unprecedented three straight Olympic Games and is widely considered the greatest sprinter of all time. I loved to make my own brushes rather than using the default brushes in the software program. I made them using ink color, then I did many experiments to choose the brushes that represent his character. His nickname is Lightning. That is why I used it in my background. I chose the yellow and the blue to achieve contrast.
