Most people have fun in the Mediterranean Sea in banana boats and yachts while there are others who are suffering in the same place. I wondered what would make people risk the lives of their children in a dubious situation in which they know that many people have and will perish. It is useful for people to see the contrast of two ways of being in the same place, side by side, to realize the scope of the problem. This gave me the idea of creating the exhibtion to allow people to feel and understand the problem and interact with it. As easily as boats can flip upside down containing the people wanting to escape their bad situations, so can a person’s life rapidly change for better or for worse.
